Ninth Stage

09 Registering your company in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry

You must register the company in the Chamber of Commerce in the same emirate in which the company was established. Then you can obtain an investor residency

08 Paying fees and receiving the license

You can obtain a commercial license through the service centers affiliated with the economic departments or through electronic services platforms.

Seventh Stage

07 Submitting the required documents

  • Initial approval receipt and all previously submitted documents
  • A copy of the lease contract documentation certificate
  • A duly certified incorporation contract if the activity requires it
  • Government authority approval of the activity if the activity requires it
Sixth Stage

06 Choose a location to conduct your business – Company Address

The company must have a physical address to conduct its business, and the commercial buildings and location must comply with the requirements specified by the Department of Economic Development in each emirate, in addition to the land allocation policies of the municipality or the competent authority. A certified contract must be submitted to lease the company’s office and warehouses, in the Emirate of Dubai, and the lease must be registered through rent offices.

Fifth Stage

05 Prepare the company's articles of association / local service agent agreement (Emtiaaz company)

A company's articles of association must be concluded if the legal form of the company is: a general partnership, a simple limited partnership, a limited liability company, a private joint-stock company, a public joint-stock company.

A local service agent agreement (Emtiaaz company) must be concluded if it is a sole proprietorship.

04 Obtaining Initial Approval

Obtaining initial approval means that the UAE government has no objection to establishing your company in the country, and therefore you can move to the next step to obtain a commercial license, but this does not mean that the investor can start practicing his commercial activities.

03 Commercial Name Registration

The commercial name is the name of the company and must be unique and not similar to the name of another registered company, taking into account the terms and conditions of the UAE in choosing the name.
